72 Names of God

(Based on teachings by The Kabbalah Centre International)

In 2008 we began incorporating meditations for the 72 Names of God based on the teachings of Yehuda Berg. If the following information seems interesting to you we highly suggest that you purchase the book 72 Names of God by Yehuda Berg. We here at the International Prayer & Meditation Group have NO affiliation with this group. However, we have found their techniques extremely powerful and have incorporated this into our prayer group. During specific days each month, our prayer and meditation group devotes their prayer and meditation time using these very powerful names. We invite you join with us (or you may prefer to work alone). Many of our membership has reported tremendous success using these techniques. We welcome you to join with us on the allocated days to meditate with us. We find that best results come when you select one or two areas of your life that you wish to improve and work on them steadfastly for 4-8 weeks. As you begin to see the miraculous results in your life, then go on to the next area of your life that you desire change. Please follow this link for more information directly from the Kabbalah Centre. If this resonates within you, then we encourage you to magnify the power of this powerful approach to prayer and meditation and join with us in prayer and meditation at pre-determined times (see our monthly schedules). We devote 1-3 days each month to these practices.

The following is quoted from the Kaballah Centre International website. This is not our original information, it is a direct quote from their website. For more information on Kabbalah we suggest you visit their website at: The Kabballah Centre - 72 Names of God

"Kabbalah teaches that every human being shares the same ultimate purpose in life, which is to receive the complete joy and fulfillment that God desires for us. But while this is easy to say, true spiritual work is needed to remove the negative tendencies that separate us from life’s gifts. And as we undertake this work, our souls need technical support, as would a computer or any other highly sensitive mechanism.

One of Kabbalah's most important teachings is that we are not alone in life’s tasks. There are powerful tools to help us, including the Bible itself. Kabbalah teaches that the Bible is neither a topic for academic study nor a book of commandments and prohibitions meant to be taken literally. Rather, the Bible is a coded document in which the true underpinnings of the universe lie hidden — including the amazing spiritual technology known as the 72 Names of God.

What exactly are the 72 Names? According to Kabbalistic teachings, 72 unique combinations of Hebrew letters from Chapter 14 of the book of Exodus create a spiritual vibration that is a powerful antidote to the negative energy of the human ego. This revelation is a crucial step forward in the work of Kabbalistic masters over thousands of years."
